This digital collage was made for a "girlfriends" themed chunky book I am participating in for a small group here in LA. I've been thinking a lot lately about my girlfriends, who they are, what they mean to me, even how many. Each one is important, and I have such different girlfriends in different parts of my life - art, mommyhood, family, even business.
But, there's one girlfriend out there that I have been missing terribly. She is lodged deep in my heart. Even though we don't manage to talk enough, in person or even on the phone, I think of her often. Even though we look very different, and have very different lives, we share the same heart. And so, I thought of her as I made this 4x4, knowing she'll be my girlfriend forever. She's my BFF and I don't need a reality show to prove it.
